Vegetable-tanned leather needs almost nothing. Keep it dry, let it mark, and it will darken into a patina that is yours alone. Wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid direct sun for long periods and never machine-wash.

Our leather comes from Badalassi Carlo, a tannery in Tuscany that still tans with natural tannins rather than chemicals — a slower method that leaves the hide breathing and the grain intact.
Aniline-finished, it takes on the marks of use rather than resisting them. In a year it is darker. In ten it is unmistakably yours.
